In order to get to the desert in time for the camel ride and to view the sunset over Erg Chebbi Dunes in Merzouga, we will pick you up from your riad in Marrakech early in the morning for your two-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes.
Once you are outside of Marrakech, take a drive to Merzouga. Admire the magnificent mountain vista as we enter the High Atlas Mountains. After that, we'll stop at a broad vantage point in Ait Ben Haddou to see the ancient Kasbah there. UNESCO has protected the walled communities as a World Heritage Site since 1987. Other well-known films and TV series that feature this Ksbah are Gladiator, Babel, and Game of Thrones.
Proceed with your 2-day desert tour from Marrakech to Fes, making a lunch stop at a restaurant. When we arrive in Merzouga, it will be afternoon. Your camels will be waiting for you to cross the Erg Chebbi Dunes and enjoy a peaceful time watching the sun set over the massive sand dunes. After that, arrive at your desert camp to have dinner, and after a delicious feast, the group will light a bonfire, play drums, and sing you some Berber songs.

When you awaken on the second day, witness the magnificent desert daybreak. After breakfast, we'll ride back on a camel so you may shower in the riad. Then we will leave Merzouga for Fez. Along the way, we will visit traditional villages like Erfoud and Midelt (where you will have lunch), pausing in the Ziz Valley to snap some truly spectacular photos.
