itinerary
Day 1 : MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS- KASBAH AIT BEN HADDOU- BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY
You will go through the eastern part of Morocco on this exhilarating and adventurous tour. At 7:00 a.m, our driver from Linda Morocco Tours will come get you from your Marrakech hotel and take you to the departure location. After crossing the Atlas Mountain range, we will arrive at the Kasbah in Ait Ben Haddou, a place of marvel, the Kasbah (indeed, there are six of them within a walled city). You'll get the impression that you've travelled back in time to the era of gladiators, nomadic desert dwellers, and historic marketplaces. After the tour, lunch will be served in the Kasbah at Ait Ben Haddou.
On our first day, Ouarzazate will be your next destination. We will take in the views of a city that has served as the backdrop for multiple box office hits. Several films, including The Mummy and Lawrence of Arabia, have been filmed in this place which is known as "The Gateway to the Desert."
Finally we will continue to the Dades Valley where you will spend the night in a hotel and savour the delectable Moroccan evening meal.
Day 2 : BOUMALNE DADES VALLEY –TINGHIR- TODRA GORGE – MERZOUGA
After breakfast,we will head to Todra gorges. The region is kept up nicely, with asphalt roads directing visitors around this enormous canyon. You'll find individuals attempting to reach the top of the cliff face, rock climbers, and sporadic flooding caused by the Dades River. Then we will have lunch in Tinghir, in which we can eat at any of the several restaurants. The best part of our desert tour from Marrakech is still to come. In the afternoon, we will arrive at Merzouga and you will see the great dunes of Erg Chebbi and spend your second night and have dinner in a hotel.
Day 3 : Tour in the Beauty of the Sahara Desert
After breakfast, you can enjoy the pleasures of a leisurely stroll through the enormous dunes of Erg Chebbi, which has Morocco's largest underground natural reservoir, or perhaps you would prefer to go shopping in the neighbouring villages of Merzouga. Then the tiny village of Khamlia, also known as the "black people's village," which is home to descendants of slaves who were taken from the Sudan and whose residents will mesmerise you with their renditions of beloved Gnawa music.
After that, take pleasure in an amazing 90-minute camel ride amid shifting sand dunes into a gorgeous sunset. You will arrive at a traditional Berber desert campsite and spend the night in a lovely tent surrounded by the towering dunes. Until it's time to go to sleep, unwind and savour a delectable dinner while taking in the lovely melodies of traditional Berber music. The stars are so numerous and brilliant that you could practically reach out and touch them.
Day 4 : Erg Chebbi – Erfoud- Midelt- Azrou – Ifrane- Fes
Today you should wake up early to observe the magnificent daybreak over the desert. After breakfast, we'll ride back on a camel so you may shower in the riad. Then we will leave Merzouga for Fez. Along the way, we will visit traditional villages like Erfoud and Midelt, pausing in the Ziz Valley to snap some truly spectacular photos and also to get some pictures of the barbary monkeys in Azrou's Cedar forests. We're going to stop for lunch in Midelt. Next, we proceed to Ifrane, a city whose houses and climate are sure to captivate you. In the evening our driver from Linda Morocco Tours will drop you off at your lodging in Fes.
Day 5: Fes Guided Tours
After a filling breakfast, get ready to be picked up from your Fez lodging and take a walk through the district known as Mellah, which was once home to Moroccan Jews. Explore time-defying medersas, msids, and souks; also, check out the freshly refurbished Museum of Moroccan Arts and the clay-based stores that sell handmade kitchenware. In order to appreciate the Old Medina from a 360-degree perspective, you must first visit the palace of His Majesty the King of Morocco and contemplate its seven bronze gates. Next, proceed to Jamaa al Qarawiyin, the only school on Earth where pupils are still instructed in the use of ancient techniques to tackle a variety of knowledge-related challenges, including physics, maths, and arithmetic. Explore the lively souks where spices and veggies are exchanged at eye level. Souk Al Attarin's magnificent fragrance will captivate you. In order to see the colours and materials, you will also visit the Moroccan Art Museum in Nejjarine Carpenters' Square and the Chouara Tannery. Ultimately, following this guided tour of culture and history, our driver will drop you off at your lodging.
